Nominate a book flying under the radar!

The submissions window has officially opened for the seventh annual 28 Days Later campaign, a Black History Month celebration of picture books and middle-grade and young-adult novels written and illustrated by African Americans. (This internationally celebrated month in February is also known as African American History month in the U.S.)

The Brown Bookshelf will take nominations through November 8. Help them identify under-the-radar and vanguard African-American children’s book authors and illustrators. To nominate someone, leave a comment on their main blog post here.
